We all want our homes to look like those “perfect” photos we see in magazines.  When the holidays come around and it’s your turn to host family and friends, those dreams of home design perfection are even more apparent!  Luckily, there are a few easy things you can do without committing to a full on reno!  Here are 4 ways:

1. A little kitchen facelift! – you can sand and stain or paint your existing cabinets to breathe new life into them.  You can also install a new backsplash – fun tiles and designs go a long way!
2. Try cork! – no not from the wine bottle – cork flooring!  Cork floors can be easily installed over your existing floors in one afternoon!  They also add warmth to your home just in time for winter! 
3. Up your curb appeal!  Some plants, new hardware and even new exterior lights can make your guests feel the super inviting ambiance before they even step inside your home!
4. Put on your crown! Crown molding that is!  Luckily there are new materials (made of lightweight foam) that make it super easy to install some crown molding to add some cool architectural elements to your room! 

As you can see, there are lots of things you can do (some even before Thanksgiving) to make sure your home is holiday-ready!
